You are bidding on a Holley 94 "ECG" two barrel carburetor from a 1956 Ford 272 V8 engine. The ECG carbs had larger venturis, and flowed more air than the previous 94s. It's got an automatic choke, and the throttle plates, adjustment screws, and other linkages move freely. It looks like a good rebuildable carb. Happy bidding!

Just before he left Porsche, CAR caught up with Dr Durheimer to discover the future he’s leaving behind at the German sports car manufacturer. Dr Durheimer begain his career in the auto industry in 1986, working for BMW as a product manager, product development boss for the Motorrad division, and then as R&D boss.
Autostyle Design Competition 2013: The Results
Thu, 10 Oct 2013The results of the tenth annual Autostyle 2013 design competition are in, with three Italian and two French design students earning this year's top plaudits. The contest challenged students from eight schools from around the world to create a custom vehicle from a Citroën Revolte concept, Suzuki SX4, Audi Crosslane, Land Rover Defender DC100 concept or Maserati Ghibli. The schools involved were: Creapole; Istituto Europeo di Design (IED); Institut Supérieur du Design (ISD); Istituto Superiore Scienza dell'Automobile di Modena (ISSAM); Politecnico di Milano; Royal College of Art; Strate College; and Umeå University of Design.
