The Griffith Motorcar Club International will be hosting Richard “Dick” Monnich, the first TVR importer in the United States and the catalyst for the Ford 289-powered TVR Griffith, as part of the fifth-annual Gathering of Griffiths & TVRs. Event organizer and former Griffith factory test driver Mike Mooney claims all three Griffith body styles will be present, along with a British-produced TVR 500.

Daimler raises its stake in Aston Martin to 5%, as alliance deepens

The Mercedes-Benz parent company grew its stakeholding by 1% on 31 July 2014, the company confirmed. Daimler now owns 5% of Aston Martin.

Next-gen Nissan Versa coming to U.S.

The next-generation Nissan Versa will be sold in the United States, the company announced on Monday morning. A sketch released shows a more sculpted and lined compact than the current car. Nissan sold 7,021 Versas in September in the United States, an increase of 47 percent over the same period in 2009.
