Skoda Vision D (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show
Tue, 01 Mar 2011Skoda hinted at a new model to fit between the Octavia and Fabia with the Vision D concept car at the 2011 Geneva motor show. Skoda is plotting a Focus rival to make up for the company's weird half sizes - its current offering, the Octavia, is in fact a half size up. But the Vision D is much more important than that.

As we said when we reported that Pagani were taking a Zonda Cinque Roadster to the Geneva Motor Show - and again when we told you about the Zonda Tricolore – we are almost at the end of the Zonda, with the Pagani C9 due to bow on the world stage in September undisguised (although we’ve seen plenty of Pagani C9 spy photos). So the Zonda isn’t really news any more, and the Zonda R even less so.
New Ford Focus ST is Europe’s best selling hot hatch.
Wed, 13 Mar 2013The new Ford Focus ST has become the best selling hot hatch in Europe in the last three months, outselling the Golf GTi and Renault Megane Sport. But the new Focus ST finally went on sale last summer, and started arriving in Ford’s UK showrooms in the Autumn, as the ST finally hit Europe’s roads. At a starting price of £21,995, a more aggressive look and decent performance – 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds – the new Focus ST is an appealing performance bargain, even if 250 horses through the front wheels is a big ask.
