Hello. Up for auction we have 7 connecting rods. I don't know what happened to #8. Some how it got lost or taken? These are Howards dense forged lite rods for a large journal small block chevy engine. The Howards part number is PFL6000. These rods only weigh 495 grams each. 495, not 595! The have 5 1/6 rod bolts and they are 245,000 psi bolts. They are 6 inch rods, they are bushed, they have a .940 width big end, they are for a .927 pin, and feature the fractured cap technology for perfect cap to rod alignment. Howards says these rods are good to 500 horse power. Competition Products in Wisconsin sells a set of 8 for $599.97 These are used rods but only have dyno time and 2 practice sessions on them. They have been sitting on a shelf in the shop for about 3 years. Some have some light rust spots on them like water got dripped on a few at one time. Competition Products has what they call a broom sheet with great prices on over stock, or singles. You could probably find an extra rod there. These rod bolts have only been torqued one time.
