Modified Howe clamp on steering shaft bracket column mount - fits 1 3/4" round tubing
We have a nice used steering column mounting bracket available for sale.
It looks to be in good used condition, but it has been modified from original.
It now measures about 8" from center to center.
Please see the photos and decide if it's right for you.
Driver comfort with ease in any car. This modified design allows
for maximum adjustability. No more Heim binding. With the
many dash bar heights and cockpit lengths, it’s hard to
please everyone, but we think this should do it.
This mount is about 8” long and fits a 1-3/4” dash bar.

The Detroit auto show is just getting started, and Toyota has kicked things off with a nice surprise: The racy FT-1 concept. A product of Toyota's Calty Design Research facility, the FT-1 concept shares some of the swoops and vents with the Lexus RC F. But there's a boatload of high-performance styling cues there, too: Take a quick glance and you might spot the front end of a Ferrari Enzo, the profile of the Nissan GT-R, the double-bubble roof of the SRT Viper/any number of Zagato creations and the oversized retractable rear wing of the McLaren P1.

Renault has unveiled four incredible electric concept cars at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show, and all four will be in production by the end of 2012. The maddest of all is the tiny Twizy ZE concept, a 1+1 city car that Renault sources have revealed to CAR will go into production in 2011 relatively unchanged. Also on sale in 2011 will be an electric van for commercial buyers, based on the Kangoo ZE concept and mechanically identical to the Be Bop ZE Ben Oliver drove earlier in 2009.

BMW M3 Concept: the lowdown
It's been scooped, spied and speculated about for months - but earlier today the covers finally slid off the new BMW M3... or the concept, at least. Yes, we'll have to wait a bit longer for the final production version, but these photos suggest that the M3 concept will go the same way as its bigger brother, the M5.
