Nissan Terra SUV concept (2012) first official pictures

This is the Nissan TeRRA (which we'll be referring to as the Terra from now on.) It's a hydrogen fuel cell-powered concept car that'll debut on Nissan's stand at the 2012 Paris motor show from 27 September. Strictly a design study with no plans for production, it does nevertheless confirm that Nissan is thinking seriously about fuel cell-equipped cars, and that once the infrastructure is viable, Nissans will be quick to adapt to a hydrogen-fuelled future. It's not Leaf-style EVs, you know.

Lotus to double production – Return to Motorsport

Lotus CEO Dany Bahar plans to double production at Hethel and return to Motor Sport Through all the gloom and doom car makers have reported over the last year and more there has been one shining light which has seemed impervious to the downturn – Lotus. They’ve not only remained profitable but they’ve managed to bring to market a new car – the Lotus Evora – which has not only been pretty well universally praised but has a full order book to boot. Lincoln MKZ

Lincoln has released details and images of the production version of the Lincoln MKZ, first seen in concept form at this year's Detroit auto show. The production MKZ is largely unchanged aside from details such as door handles and larger side mirrors, while Lincoln has retained classic design elements such as the split-wing grille, albeit with a slimmer, sportier twist. Lincoln Design Director Max Wolff says, "The exterior's front graphic is repeated in the dramatic sweep of the new instrument panel, helping tie the interior to the exterior in a harmonious manner." The exterior of the MKZ is characterized by its sweeping roofline which features a 4633mm2 retractable panoramic roof.
