This Hurst Competition Plus shifter and installation kit was purchased new in the mid-80's and never installed in my 1968 Camaro Z-28.
This shifter and installation kit is for a 1967-68 Camaro or Firebird with a Muncie 451 transmission with or without console.
The 1980 part numbers shown in the pictures have all been superseded. The shifter part #3915401 is now 3914339. The current part number for the installation kit is 3734529. Installation instructions are available online at the Hurst website.
These original parts show some light discoloration from age, and the chrome shifter handle has some very light marks as shown in the pictures.
The shifter knob went missing years ago, and I purchased the new current version to complete the kit..

Lajdziak replaces Schembri as the president of Smart USA

David Schembri, who previously held the job, will take an unidentified position with the Penske Automotive Group, which distributes the Smart ForTwo microcar in the United States, the company said. "Dave will transition into retail operations at Penske Automotive Group with our dealerships," said Penske spokesman Anthony Pordon.
Cadillac ATS coupe bows at Detroit auto show
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Cadillac's ATS range grows into an even stronger BMW 3-series/4-series competitor with the introduction of the coupe model, which marks the first time GM's luxury division has taken the plunge into the compact luxury coupe segment. The ATS coupe's 109.3-inch wheelbase is shared with its sedan brethren, but wears a lot of its own bodywork including a unique roof, doors, fenders, trunk lid and front fascia to not only give the coupe its own distinctive look, but to dress the wider track the coupe gets over the sedan. The ATS Coupe will be the first production Caddy to wear the division's new crest when it goes on sales this summer.
