HURST LIGHTNING ROD SHIFTERS. THESE ARE FOR 3 SPEED AUTOS GM AND NOT 2 SPEED OR OVERDRIVE. SHIFTER SET 1 , THE ONE WITH THE STAINLESS STEEL SHIFT KNOBS IS COMPLETE AND HAS ALL THE PARTS BUT HAS THE ROUNDED TOP OF THE BASE CUT OFF TO FIT UNDER MY CONSOLE, SEE PIC. SHIFTER SET 1 WAS SOLD TO ME AS NOS WITHOUT THE BOX. SHIFTER SET 2 WORKED BUT WHEN I BOUGHT IT BUT THE GUY DIDN'T MENTION HE CUT THE LOCKING TABS OFF THE SHIFTERS SO THEY WOULDN'T STAY LOCKED IN THE GROOVES ON THE SIDE OF THE BASE. DIDN'T AFFECT SHIFTING BUT THE SHIFTERS FLOPPED AROUND. SHIFTER SET 2 ALSO HAS ROUNDED TOP OF BASE CUT FLAT TO MOUNT UNDER MY CONSOLE, SEE PIC. SHIFTER SET 2 HAS TABS FOR SHIFT INDICATOR CUT OFF, SEE PIC. THERE IS NO REVERSE LOCK OUT ON THIS ONE. ALSO ONE OR MORE SHIFTERS APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN REWELDED AT THE BOTTOM ON THE SHIFTER ROD. THERE ARE 6 BLACK KNOBS FOR THOSE THAT WANT THE ORIGINAL KNOBS OR KNOBS THEY CAN PAINT , SEE PIC. 2 OF THESE KNOBS HAVE WEAR ON THEM WITH CHUNKS OUT OF THE TOPS, SEE PIC. ALSO THE EXTRA RODS KNOBS AND PIECES IN PIC GO WITH SHIFTER SET 2. I BELIEVE THIS IS EVERTHING BUT NOT SURE. GREAT ITEM SOLD AS IS.

Earlier this year Land Rover revealed the Discovery XXV Special Edition to celebrate 25 years of the Discovery, based it on the range-topping HSE Luxury spec and then added more gloss. And now some of that gloss is being extended across the current Discovery range as Land Rover tries to keep sales buoyant ahead of the current car’s demise.
