Hurst motor mount for Y Block engine installation in an older chassis. Saddle mount which includes reproduction cushions.

Not positive about this mount, but the center to center distance of other Hurst mounts that I have used lined up with the original cushions for a Ford flathead engine in cars like a 1940 Ford. Can also be used in a Model A with the use of add on brackets on the frame. I used a mount like this on a Model A many years ago. Worked great.

Was purchased to duplicate the job I did on the Model A Ford when I was younger, but needed to stop when my health made it difficult to continue these things.

Ultra-low-mileage Chevrolet Corvair Monza heads to the auction block

Tue, 25 Mar 2014

We've never really paused to appreciate the subtle good looks of the Chevrolet Corvair, especially the end-of-the-line 1969 Corvair Monza coupe. But this particular car, which will be sold at the upcoming Mecum Houston auction on April 11, will make you stop and take stock. Even if you're Ralph Nader, you can't help but be impressed by its extreme originality: It has just 15 miles on the odometer.
