High performance adhesive – sealed in graphics that will never fade or wear off. Can be applied over paint and a clear coat can be applied over the decals as well. Installation The most important aspect of decal application is to make sure your tank is free of all grease, dirt, etc. A good solvent-based cleaner will do the trick. Once cleaned allow a minimum of five minutes before decal placement. Carefully align decals before removing the backing to familiarize yourself with placement then apply. Temperatures above 15 C work best. You can use a hair dryer to help shape the decal. Adhesive cures to its best bond strength after 24 hours – do not use bike until bond is cured. 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible: First Photos
Mon, 24 Dec 2012We have the first photos of the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible ahead of a reveal at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. Bentley hasn’t done the official reveal for the GT Sports Convertible yet, so all we have are the first photos in all their purpleness (although the DVLA thinks this particular Bentley is black). Under the skin we expect the same W12 with 616bhp and 590lb/ft of torque which is enough, certainly in the tin-top GT Speed, to get the monster Bentley to 62mph in 4.2 seconds and on to 205mph.
Ford Iosis X concept
Tue, 03 Oct 2006With an abundance of small SUVs entering the European market, Ford has been conspicuously absent from this segment, something that the Iosis X will hope to quell. Using the same 'kinetic design' theme as the Iosis concept from last year, the Iosis X puts a coupe-like window graphic and roofline upon thick sills, similar in this respect to the Opel Antara concept. But while Opel will have their model on the road imminently, those wanting the Ford equivalent will have to wait until early 2008 for the forms to be toned down and put in showrooms.
Aston Martin DB9 4WD Plug-in Hybrid revealed by Bosch (video)
Sun, 16 Jun 2013Bosch has built a plug-in hybrid Aston Martin DB9 We’ve always believed one of the best uses for hybrid powertrains is to provide extra performance on high-end cars, something Bosh has demonstrated by fitting the Aston Martin DB9 with a hybrid setup. The hybrid DB9 hasn’t been built to preview a production hybrid DB9 (although it probably should) but to demonstrate what Bosch can do with an existing car. Aston Martin donated the DB9 to Bosch for the hybrid project, and Bosh has fitted the DB9 with three electric motors – one at each front wheel and one next to the Aston’s V12 – which gives the DB9 something in the region of an extra 250bhp to play with.
