Does your bike suffer from STS - Snatchy Throttle Syndrome or Surging?

A true plug and play fix (no splicing of factory wires) Easy 5 minute fix

Fix it with a Power Controller

What causes the problem?

It is the tuning BMW & Husqvarna have to do to meet the emissions standard... Our bike are running very lean - not like smooth running "carbed" engine.

Whats the fix?

Give the bike a little bit more gas...

How we do it?

Tell the ECU the air temperature is lower the is actually is... Simple! This works for all BMW & Husqvarna EFI (electronic fuel injection) bikes.

This smooths out the throttle response plus give the bike more Horse Power!

How do you install it?

Simply connect the unit in series with your existing air box sensor.  5 minute install! (requires removing seat and battery cover - easy)

Plug and Play - no wire cutting!

Why is the Power Controller better than other units out there?

The Power Controller has a 2 position waterproof switch for two different enrichment levels

One position is for use for 85 deg F and below and a second position for air temperatures above 85 deg F.

The 2 position switch can be mounted where ever the user prefers! nice long whip.

The details for you techies......................................

This is basically the same general idea as the Accelerator module and the Booster Plug sold overseas but a with a more refined fuel enrichment control when the temperature rises!

The idea of the switch : The rider may take off in the mountain mornings at 40 deg f and it may be 90 deg F later at noon riding in the desert. A -36 deg F offset to the ECU (the way the Accelerator plug works) is not need when the air temperature gets hot. Only a -18 deg F offset to the ECU is needed when the air temperature is above 85 deg f.

Better control for a more Precise enrichment!

(The switch was a request from riders in some of the development discussions.)

Blue position- this setting it tells the ECU that the air temperature is 36 deg F cooler than it is. The ECU enriches the fuel (on increase throttle movement and decrease throttle movement only

Red position- this setting it tells the ECU that the air temperature is 18 deg F cooler than it is. The ECU enriches the fuel (on throttle movement only)

Less enrichment is needed when air temperature is above 85 deg F.

Steady state throttle- the O2 sensor controls enrichment!

Here is some feedback from recent installs

Thanks! After installing and going for a short ride I can say that it works as you claimed. Thanks, Paul

Thanks ! Installed it this afternoon and went out for a short ride. Weather was in the mid-60's so I had the switch set to the blue position. Very noticeable improvement in the throttle roll-on/roll-off, especially at lower speeds. No more bucking bronco, jumpy behavior. If you have an F800GS and have not done this mod yet, you don't know what you are missing!

Installed the controller yesterday. Really simple installation ! Took the F8 out today for a short 50-100 mi. run. It idles smoother, going through the gears silky smooooooooooooth !!! I even hit a few gravel roads, man what a difference !!!! No more STS !!! Wish I had purchased the controller sooner !!! Thanks for a great product !!

Installed mine today. Only took a quick ride around town. Wow, what a difference it made in the low RPM fueling. Around town the throttle response is so much smoother, no more bucking at low RPM!
Tomorrow a backroad test run is planned

I recently bought one of your controllers, I've just got around to installing it and it's the greatest cure all ever. What a boost to rider confidence on the dirt.

Have installed my power controller and have been running it for about 2 months. Very, very happy. Went for a ride with my mate yesterday on his 990 and he was commenting on how my bike was running so mush better. We just finished a 2 hour technical low speed muddy, hilly section. I mentioned the only change I have made on the bike was the power controller. He was complaining about the same problem I had on my BMW F800 before I installed the power controller. Now he wants one. ... From a very happy customer from AUstralia

Epoxy sealed electronics, double sealed BMW waterproof factory connectors, switchable, with an external temperature sensor! Not the cheap stuff!!

Wed, 02 May 2012

Kia has launched its new K9 flagship saloon in Korea. The rear-drive V6-engined saloon, dubbed K9 in Kia's domestic market nomenclature, is a first move upmarket for Hyundai's erstwhile budget brand. CAR picked up word of the new Kia last year, when it seemed that Kia would get a V8-engined flagship to match the range-topping Hyundai Equus.

Saab ends deal with Chinese investors

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Saab owner Swedish Automobile scrapped a $340 million investment deal with Chinese automotive companies Zhejiang Youngman Lotus and Pang Da after they proposed a buyout, straying from the original deal. Youngman and Pang Da signed a nonbinding agreement in July to take a combined 53.9 percent stake in Swedish Automobile. The Chinese companies say circumstances have changed since that time, so the deal should too.

Shelby 1000 Mustang: A completely bonkers dose of American Muscle Car

Wed, 28 Mar 2012

Shelby 1000 Mustang Shelby has taken the Ford Mustang GT500 and given it up to 1085bhp to create the Shelby 1000. But it’ll cost you the best part of £150k. Fifty years ago Caroll Shelby changed UK motorways forever by teaming up with AC to produce the AC Cobra which, it is said, was responsible for Barbara Castle introducing the 70mph speed limits on motorways after AC used the new M1 to test the AC Cobra at speeds of up to 180mph.
