Jaguar Land Rover sales up 32% in January 2013
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Jaguar Land Rover sales continue to power ahead, with sales up 32 per cent in January 2013 – 31 per cent up for Land Rover and 40 per cent for Jaguar. We’ve got used to ever increasing sales from both Jaguar and Land Rover in recent years, and 2013 has started for JLR in the same manner as 2012 – with sales up by 32 per cent. JLR are reporting sales up in every major market, with China topping the list with an increase of 74 per cent, but even the UK (up 33 per cent) and USA (up 24 per cent) performed well and, despite sales falling across Europe for most car makers, Jaguar Land Rover managed to increase their sale by 10 per cent on the Continent.
33% of young take driving 'selfie'
Fri, 08 Aug 2014A THIRD a third of young British drivers have taken a "selfie" while at the wheel, according to a survey. Such self-distracting behaviour is worse among young Britons than among any of six other European countries, the survey from the Ford Motor Company showed. While 33% of Britons aged 18-24 confessed to taking a selfie while driving, the figure for Germany was 28%, with France also 28%, Romania, 27%, Italy 26%, Spain 18% and Belgium 17%.
Concept Car of the Week: MG EX-E

Dubbed "The concept car that's too exciting to keep secret", it was a production-feasible project that would act as a blank canvas for all future Austin Rover creations. Roy Axe, Design Director of Rover, designed the car around the Metro 6R4 and had an aluminum chassis and plastic body.
