Why the Corvette Stingray should pace the Indy 500
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Will the new Corvette Stingray be at the head of the field on May 26 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the start of the Indianapolis 500? I say -- how could it not be! With its new body and frame and 450-hp V8 engine the Stingray could do the job with just minor modifications.
Infiniti EX35
Fri, 24 Aug 2007The EX35 is a slightly smaller and more mainstream SUV than its FX bigger brother from which it takes its core 'coupe SUV' theme. Despite the coupe design references, the vehicle is similar proportionally to the Lexus RX300 and BMW X3 which it will compete with in the US - and also in Europe when the Infiniti brand debuts next year. Little different to the Infiniti EX concept shown in New York, the EX35 uses the core Infiniti graphic design signatures and soft form language but introduces a new flowing side feature line not seen on the Infiniti G37 Coupe launched a few months ago. Interesting technical innovations include the 'Around View Monitor' that uses four cameras to give a 'top-down view' of the outside of the car, and 'Scratch Shield' - a new self-healing clearcoat paint. Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE Review & Road Test Part 3
Wed, 19 May 2010Final part of our review/road test of the Freelander 2 HSE The bigger dimensions on the Freelander 2 have made the cabin more appealing. In many ways it reminds me of the interior on the previous model Range Rover Sport. The one I recently decried as “ill-conceived and felt low-rent”. Which was how it felt in the Sport (much improved now, I hasten to add).
