The Lexus LFA turns up at the Goodwood Supercar Sunday Breakfast Club The Lexus LFA hasn’t had an easy gestation. Half a generation from the promise to the reality, and endless hiccups with lease and buy-back plans in the US – where Lexus initially refused to sell the LFA – meant many of the headlines were less than positive. Peugeot puts RCZ designer on Twitter

Like many automakers, Peugeot is now making conspicuous use of social media platforms as a component in its new car launch campaigns and in order to manage customer relations online. For its new RCZ coupe, Peugeot in the UK has been running a social media campaign under the strap line "It chooses you", with associated Twitter and Facebook accounts – which culminated with a member of the public winning an RCZ last week. For auto designers, there was little interest in the campaign up until last week, when Peugeot put RCZ designer Boris Reinmöller behind a computer terminal and opened him up to a public Q+A session through its Twitter account.

Fifth-generation BMW M5 teased in new video

BMW is preparing a fifth generation of the high-performance M5 sedan. We expect to get a turbocharged V8 making about 550 hp and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. BMW plans to roll out the new M5 at the Frankfurt motor show in September.
