  • Power tuning for regular and E-85/Flex fuel vehicles
  • Reads and clears Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's)
  • Internet updateable
  • Upgradeable to Max Energy programmer
  • The E-CON Economy power programmer is designed for the driver who needs better fuel mileage and more power, but doesn't want to pay for other high-performance features they may not need. Every E-CON is programmed with Hypertech's Max Energy tuning, the best optimized fuel tuning programs possible that increases horsepower and torque. Max Energy Tuning extracts every bit of energy possible out of every molecule of fuel giving you more miles at part-throttle and more power at wide-open throttle. With the additional power, drivers use less fuel to accelerate and maintain cruising speeds without the torque converter un-locking and transmission down-shifting to a lower gear. The results are improved power and maximum fuel mileage. The E-CON offers 'Regular Octane' tuning for gas vehicles, and can be used with E-85 fuel on Flex Fuel vehicles. Hypertech customers claim 1 to 2 MPG gains on gasoline vehicles.

Ferrari F450 prototype spied as F430 successor heads for Frankfurt debut

    Fri, 27 Mar 2009

Spy photographer Brenda Priddy serves up a fresh look at the Ferrari F450, the car set to replace the F430 in Ferrari's lineup later this year. From this prototype, spotted being loaded into a hauler, we see that the styling is updated but not a radical departure from the F430. The new model designation comes from an increase in displacement for the V8 to 4.5 liters.

    Sat, 31 Jan 2009

As we’ve said before, the Aston Martin Rapide has been so long coming it feels like it’s already here. But it’s not, despite the spy pictures of the Rapide we’ve seen, and now comes the first official picture – apparently. We’ve seen an ‘official’ Aston Martin Rapide image before, but this looks more convincing, even though it is obviously a rendering.

BMW M550d xDrive to get three stage turbo

    Thu, 24 Nov 2011

BMW M550d xDrive gets three stage turbo Earlier this week we revealed that the long-expected BMW M550d xDrive was ready to rock and we could expect it to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in Spring 2012. The M550d xDrive is the so-called ‘Triple-Turbo’ diesel engine we’ve been expecting from BMW for the last couple of years. With 380bhp and a mountain of torque – 520lb/ft or more – we’d expected BMW to fit the engine to the X5 and X6 to create a diesel version of the M cars.
