Honda Insight Mk2: photo of production hybrid car

This is a bit of a mini landmark in green fuels technology: the Insight Mk2 will become at a stroke the world’s cheapest hybrid car. Sales begin in spring 2009 and CAR understands that Honda is working on a £14,995 price tag, substantially undercutting today’s hybrids.

Mercedes did an impressive job in qualifying yesterday for the 2013 Spanish Grand Prix, but even Ross Brawn was hesitant to suggest his team could recreate their qualifying form in the race. But even though the styling is rather uninspiring, the mechanicals hold more than an appealing mix of performance and dynamics.
