Flying car gets regulatory clearance

The Jetsons' futuristic vision of a flying car is one step closer to becoming a reality. Terrafugia, a Massachusetts company developing a "roadable aircraft" named the Transition, just received special exemptions from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that will help it move the vehicle move forward to production. VW recalls Jettas for wiring problem

Volkswagen of America Inc. on Monday voluntarily recalled 71,043 2011 Jettas because of wiring problems with the anti-theft alarm system and horn. "The current electrical wiring layout has the horn wiring protected by the same fuse as the converter box wiring," said VW spokeswoman Sheriece Matias.
