ICARUS II Contents
The Icarus II hang glider, while not exactly
last week's design, is an exceptional craft that will provide you with hours of fun,
ease of flight, and an over-all enjoyable hang-gliding experience. This is all in addition
to owning and flying one of the rarest hang-gliders available!!
This portion of the CD includes the full set of drawings, a narrative/description to help you construct the
craft, and a set of photos. Please note that the photos are not to help in the building
of the hang-glider, but only as a bit of "something to show you what's out there."
You will need to use a PDF file utility to read/print the Icarus II material on the CD
The best utility is the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download and use for free.
Icarus V Contents
1: First, you will find a PDF file that consists of narrative,
drawings, and tips on how to construct this hang glider.
2: Next, in its own directory (folder) is a set of thirty seven (37) "plates"
of drawings with narrative in GIF file format. The resolution is absolutely amazing, which will
allow you to print these at full size for use in your construction project
should you decide to build this rarity.

3: The third item is a PDF file of the template for the wing cross-section and
structural component(s). This is intended to be printed at full scale (47" width) which
means that you will almost certainly have to take this file to a professional
print facility since almost nobody owns a plotter/printer capable of producing
a drawing of that large a size.
4: Also included are a few images/photos. These are not needed for the construction
project. You can think of them as a "motivational kick" in the "you know where" to
get you going on this!
Once you've downloaded and installed your favorite PDF utility, you'll find that these pages will
print on standard size paper or all the way up to 42"-wide professional plotting size.
Just print them at the size most practical for your use.
With plans on CD you do not have to worry about tearing a page, or dirt (or a coffee ring!) obscuring that critical
measurement! A page "goes missing" - just print another one!
NOTE: The image files included on the CD are in "GIF" and/or "JPG" format, which can be viewed or printed using any graphic file viewer, or even
your favorite web browser. I very strongly recommend the latest version of IrfanView which
is exceptionally good, free to download, and will not cost you any money to use! Just visit
www.irfanview.com for full information and downloading.

Why do people like some cars and dislike others? There are all sorts of reasons for sure, but there aren't so many cars that one both likes and also dislikes. The BMW X6 takes this a stage further in being a design that is likable and unlikable for the same reason.

Volvo's Concept CX Coupé has been revealed in a set of images ahead of its debut at January's North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The crossover SUV is the second of three concepts to be developed with Volvo's new design language under vice president of design Thomas Ingenlath, following the launch of the Volvo Concept Coupé in Frankfurt earlier this year. It's understood the new XC90 is coming next year and so this concept is certain to feature some of the elements we can expect to see on the production model.

Noble has sent us some proper sized image of the new Noble M600
We do love the look of this new Noble, but it is a big risk for the small company from Leicestershire. It is very much uncharted territory for them. They’ve had success building ‘Garden Shed’ cars in the £50-75k range for a few years now, but to suddenly catapult themselves in to real supercar territory with a £200k supercar is a big leap of faith.
