The rubber name badging is Velcro'd in place, should the need arise to cut and run. The March 11 earthquake in Japan could force Nissan to delay the start of U.S. production of its Leaf electric vehicle, now scheduled for late 2012. “The earthquake is putting us in a very difficult situation,” said Hideaki Watanabe, head of Nissan's Global Zero Emission Vehicle Business Unit.

Due to be unveiled officially at the Goodwood Revival in September, the Evanta Barchetta has been made by Ant-Kahn, the name for the surprise new partnership first revealed by CAR magazine earlier in summer 2014. It's a retro-styled roadster with seats for two and a wardrobe inspired by 1950s motorsport.

Alfa Romeo Art Car by Louise Childs Alfa Romeo are pushing quite a few PR buttons with the congestion charge busting Alfa MiTo 1.3 JTDM-2 85bhp, the latest of which is the ‘Art Car’ in the photo above. Recently, we had Alfa pitting the MiTo 1.3 JTDM-2 85bhp in a race around London against an athlete. On the face of it that race was to promote UK Athletics (sponsored by Alfa Romeo) but a big part, and the reason for the ‘London’ angle, is that the latest MiTo emits just 95g/km – the perfect London car.
