When we think of the Volare (pronounced Voe-Lar-Rie), we think of hot trance filled nights on small Mediterranean islands. Foamy suds rain down onto our enthusiastic heads as the night swirls into a duo-tone mix of sweet and sweat. Available in five retinated colorways, there’s a flavor for every tongue. Of course we added large side, forehead, and rear panels of retro-reflective graphics, to keep things safe and sex(y). 2015 Subaru Legacy photos leaked

The new car takes some cues from the Legacy Concept we saw at the Los Angeles Auto Show, though many of the curved lines seem to have been pulled straight.

Sun, 21 Apr 2013The Ford Escort Concept has been built by Ford with the aim of taking a sizeable chunk of China’s compact saloon market – estimated at 5.5 million sales a year – and looks remarkably production viable and far from ‘budget’. Escort is a badge China knows – there are plenty of old Escorts floating around Chinese roads – so it’s a sensible move by Ford to revive a badge that already resonates as a compact, affordable saloon with Chinese car buyers. This new Escort gets a proper version of Ford’s latest design language – including the Aston Martin grill – and has good lines and strong detail including jeweled headlights with the lucky Chinese ’8′ discernible ; it looks entirely cohesive and nothing like a Focus with a boot grafted on.
BMW/Exa-sponsored project at ACCD
Wed, 13 Aug 2008Art Center's BMW/Exa 7th term sponsored project, which we first reported on back in mid-February, recently had its final presentation at the conclusion of the Spring 2008 term. You'll recall the project tasked the students with redesigning a future X5 Sports Activity Vehicle with the express mandate improving its aerodynamic efficiency by at least 30 percent. To achieve this lofty goal, the co-sponsor on the project, Exa Corporation was going to provide both their engineering software PowerFLOW and their technical know-how to virtually test the students' Alias StudioTools design models and provide them with real world aerodynamic feedback.
