New Mercedes A Class to spawn electric version made by Tesla
Sun, 20 May 2012New Mercedes A Class EV on the way via Tesla It would appear that Mercedes-Benz are planning an electric version of the new Mercedes A Class with a powertrain by Tesla. Jaguar sports hatch is inspired by R-D6 concept

The R-D6 design, which had been considered an ill fit for the brand's traditional sedan/sports-car image, is now gaining support at the highest levels of the company as it forges an independent future under Indian owner Tata.
