Icon Squad 2 Backpack (Choose Color)
The revolutionary Squad2 backpack meets all military requirements for high visibility motorcycle PPE. Actually the Squad2 Milspec backpack not only meets the military's requirements but exceeds them by adding unique upper arm straps for increased visibility. Which is to say you can wear the Squad Milspec backpack instead of a reflective vest.
As for the backpack itself, it features unique comfort-fit chest closure system has two objectives: to allow for a greater coverage area of reflective and brightly colored material while also securing the backpack in a way that is for superior to standard shoulder straps when riding. But the technical marvels don't stop there. The Squad2 has more stuffable pockets than Winona Rider in a jewelry store. Specifically a secure 15" laptop carry compartment, a mp3 player / cell phone compartment with ear bud cord management system. In addition, port and starboard wing compartments are designed for tool and first aid storage.
When off the bike, the Squad2 is configured to deploy a helmet storage compartment and has several tie-down straps allowing for riding jackets and gloves to be secured. All of this results in a highly-specialized riding specific pack system with the appearance of a high-altitude jump rig.

When one thinks of Los Angeles, the near future and police vehicles, one particular conveyance comes to mind — the Syd Mead-designed Spinner from Ridley Scott's 1982 sci-fi classic, Blade Runner. Perhaps cognizant that the time of the film's dystopian setting, 2019, is less than seven years away, the L.A auto show Design Challenge group has set a date of 2025. What will California look like 13 years in the future?

VW Passat R36: the lowdown
Volkswagen has pulled the wraps off its 'R' flagship Passat – and the five-door is the fastest estate VW has ever made. Scooped by CAR Online a few weeks back, the R36 puts out 296bhp, which launches the estate fromk standstill to 62 in 5.8sec. Available as a saloon, too, the R cars go on sale in early 2007, with prices starting at an estimated £28,000.
The best selling Nissan Juke n-tec gets a revised 1.5 diesel engine. The Nissan Juke – the funky little urban SUV – has been around for three years, and its combination of rugged looks that make it look like an armoured insect, high riding stance and decent economy have made it a popular buy as a compact urban warrior. More than 19,000 Jukes have been sold in the UK since it launched in 2010, and around a third of those have been powered by Nissan’s 1.5 litre diesel engine.
