THE ICP SENSOR IS A SENSOR THAT READS THE PRESSURE, IN THE HIGH PRESSURE OIL SYSTEM, & SENDS VOLTAGE BACK TO THE ECM IN ORDER TO DETERMINE WHEN TO FIRE THE INJECTORS BASED ON THE VOLTAGE THAT THE ECM RECIEVES.

The ICP sensor's primary function is to provide a feedback signal to indicate injection control pressure to enable the PCM to command the correct injector timing and pulse width and the correct injection control pressure for proper fuel delivery at all speed and load conditions.

Fortunately, the employee and his wife suffered only minor injuries, but we assume the prototype is a complete loss.
