This steering column is not a universal column that requires modification of your original vehicle to install. Simply remove your old column saving your original under-dash mount as well as the original floor mount. Using a installation kit install your new steering column in place of the old. Not long after showing us the new Kia Picanto city car last week and the KV7 concept car at this week's 2011 Detroit auto show, today Kia publishes these first design sketches of the new Rio. It's Kia's supermini to compete with the likes of the Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Corsa and VW Polo.

Entries in both the Professional Designer category and the Student Designer category will have to be submitted by this date - no late entries will be accepted - as the assessment process takes place directly afterwards. Each entry needs to be uploaded onto the Entry Submissions page of the Car Design News Contest site as "snap shot" views of a digital design model.

Skateboarding hero Bucky Lasek, who races for Subaru's GRC team, does his best stoner-hippie Johnny Depp impression as he picks up the sheriff's daughter (Instagram "sensation" Kayslee Collins) and proceeds to do donuts around typical Midwestern fare -- and a peeing scarecrow -- in a 2015 Subaru Impreza WRX, made for jumping on dirt, storming through fireballs, being menaced by a shotgun and feeding Lasek donuts while he does donuts himself. You've been warned.
