Tucked in a corner alongside a rally car concept, the funked-up Fabia had a silver roof and door mirror caps; although not yet officially confirmed for production, officials reckon the new look will make it to showrooms, unlike a Fabia Scout faux-by-four, which was ruled out. The Fabia goes on sale in May for around £8000.

Firefighter leaves blaze to deliver baby in car

A FIREFIGHTER turned midwife today at the scene of a major blaze after learning his maternity ward skills watching the Channel 4 series One Born Every Minute. Ross McLaren delivered Antoni Zimnicki, who weighed 4.16kg (9lb 2oz), after his mum Ewelina and dad Jaroslaw got stuck in traffic around two miles from the North Middlesex Hospital in north London because of the fire. Mitusbishi Outlander GT – New York update

The Mitsubishi Outlander GT Concept will go in to production - expect it in the UK in January 2010 Tagged as a Concept Car when Mitsubishi revealed the first information last week, it has now been confirmed that the Outlander GT will go in to production. It will lose a few of the Concept-Cutie bits, such as the ventilated Brembos and the Oz wheels, but apart from that it will be produced pretty much unchanged. I wasn’t too sure about the Lancer nose when it first came in (although it has grown on me) but it does suit the Outlander GT.
