Dodge debuts new emblem
Mon, 24 May 2010With Ram and Dodge going their separate ways, the Ram brand is keeping the distinctive ram's horns logo that adorned Dodge vehicles. That left the Dodge brand to search for a new symbol as it tries to reinvent itself as a sporty, youth-oriented brand -- without pickups. So Dodge CEO Ralph Gilles adopted the twin red slashes of Chrysler Group's performance cars, seen on SRTs and R/T models.
2014 Land Rover Dicovery 5 to lose more weight than 2013 Range Rover

We know that Land Rover are on a quest to reduce the weight of their offerings, and the all aluminium 2013 Range Rover is theĀ firstĀ real evidence with weight drops of up to 420kg for the new 3.0 litre diesel. But it looks like the next generation Land Rover Discovery – which is due in 2014 and will be the Discovery 5 – is going to eclipse even the huge weight loss of the new Range Rover.
Callum: JLR needs design studios in China and US
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Jaguar and Land Rover are to open design studios in China and the United States as the two British brands look to better understand local tastes, according to Ian Callum, Jaguar Design Director in an interview with Automotive News Europe. The United States is currently the carmaker's second-biggest market after the UK, closely followed by China in third. To further tap into these markets is key for the long-term success of JLR and so it is following its competitors in opening up foreign design studios.
