Bentley Arnage replacement to take on Rolls Royce

Bentley's replacement for the Arnage in 2010 will go upmarket to compete with the Rolls Royce Phantom Bentley has revealed that after Arnage production finally ends in September it will be a full year before the replacement for the Arnage surfaces. Now the sceptics amongst us may put this down to the fact that Bentley are struggling to sell the cars they already make in the current climate, never mind producing an even more luxurious and expensive model. But Bentley say it’s so they can put a clear line under the current Arnage before its replacement arrives late in 2010.

Just when we think we have them pegged down as green halo, fluffy-bunny-loving corporate eco-mentalists with a misguided view of the future of the car, they go and produce the LFA. BMW & GM to partner on Fuel Cell technology Reports from Germany say that talks between  BMW and GM on developing new fuel cell technology are at an advanced stage. We recently revealed the BMW are to partner with Toyota to deliver diesel engines for Toyota in Europe and to work on next generation lithium ion battery technology. But it looks like it’s not just Toyota BMW are happy to play with.
