These were originally made by IMMI to use as bunk restraints in sleeper cabs for Volvo. The main net measures 33" x 50". If mounted with the safety belt buckles on the sides, the net would be 33" high. This unit includes 2 male and 2 female safety buckle mounts. If mounted as described above, the center to center of the mounting holes are 67-1/2" apart. There are some small variations in size of these nets with variations of up to 1", if you have a specific size requirement please ask and we will check our available stock. As pointed out by one of our employees, this would make a great tailgate net for a pick-up truck, and 2 would cover the top of a 6' bed. Unused shelf spare.

BMW makes 1,000 workers permanent

AROUND 1,000 agency workers at car giant BMW are to be made permanent employees, guaranteeing job security for years. The change, being made in two phases, was warmly welcomed by the Unite union, describing it as a great Christmas present. The announcement covers workers across a number of BMW sites including the Mini plant in Oxford, pressings plant in Swindon and Hams Hall engine site near Birmingham.
