NOCO iMob Solar Battery Charger

NOCO iMob solar battery chargers convert light energy from the sun into 12 volt DC electricity, which is then transported to the rechargeable batteries through the lead wire and connector. The thin film amorphous technology of iMob's panel allows the absorption of a wider spectrum of natural light and therefore works in cloudy weather conditions. This technology also enables the solar panel to handle the intense heat of the summer and the power loss due to rising temperatures. Works in all weather conditions and is waterproof, shock and rust resistant. Has reverse charge protection and overcharge protection. Box includes a charger, battery clamp connector, eyelet terminal connector and a 12 volt cigarette connector.

Specifications:

  • For 12 volt batteries; 400mA (.4A)
  • Works in all weather conditions
  • Waterproof, shock and rust resistant
  • Reverse charge protection
  • Overcharge protection

Hyundai i40 / Sonata launches

Thu, 17 Sep 2009

The new Sonata / i40 has launched in Korea The Sonata – which will be the Hyundai i40 in Europe – is yet another very convincing new model from the Koreans. Gone is the very boring old Sonata and in comes the very European style i40. It is a somewhat derivative design – from the  ’Coupe Saloon’ school of design – but that’s a positive for a budget car maker like Hyundai.

One Lap of the Web: The fabulous Lockheed Buick Electra, and how to change a tire

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

-- Did you know Zagato once designed some concept cars for Volvo? Ah, there's nothing more romantic than that blend of Italian passion and Swedish melancholic efficiency. The first car came about in 1969 and was named the GTZ, and its obscurity might owe to being hidden in favor of more popular Zagato GTZs.
