THE NEW PROGRESSIVE 944-4020UT SHOCKS FOR 1980-2013 HARLEY TOURING

Specifically designed to deliver a comfortable ride at a 1” lowered stance. Built around our “Best in Class” IAS technology,  The Super Touring shocks utilize all the suspension travel provided by these 13” eye to eye units, but provide a 1” lowered ride height normally achieved by installing a shorter, 12” E/E, set of shocks. The unique Super Touring spring combination not only delivers a lowered ride height while it’s being ridden, but also while its on the side stand. This lowered stance makes it easier to manage your bike at intersections and parking lots, not to mention just swinging your leg over the seat.

  • IAS Technology – Patented damping technology that separates wheel movement from chassis movement.
  • Adjust spring pre-load by hand, no special tool needed
  • Progressive Rate Main springs specifically designed for touring
  • High Pressure gas charged for consistent performance

Frequency Sensing Technology
(FST) allows the shocks to sense the
frequency of a bump and automatically
adjust damping for superior ride quality

Sits 1” lower on most models

Ford's Mulally gets warm reception at CES

Fri, 07 Jan 2011

Ford CEO Alan Mulally introduced the Focus electric at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show on Friday in a presentation that was short on details about the car and long on cures for range anxiety. That's partly because Ford is saving details about the car for next week' Detroit auto show, and partly because range anxiety figures to be a major reason for all but the most committed customers to avoid electric vehicles like the Ford Focus electric. Mulally managed to avoid using the term, but said Ford is confronting range anxiety head-on.

Hyundai i20 (2014): first pictures of grown-up new supermini

Mon, 11 Aug 2014

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 11 August 2014 07:30 Here is the new 2014 Hyundai i20 supermini, unveiled this morning ahead of a Paris motor show debut in October. Designed in Europe and built in Turkey, this is a Europe-focused supermini and benefits from a new, pumped-up platform designed to close the gap between the i20 and class leaders such as the Ford Fiesta and VW Polo. Hyundai is claiming one of the most spacious cabins in the B-segment, thanks to a wheelbase stretched by 45mm – a couple of inches longer than before.
