Your looking at a brand new Independent Cycle East / I.C.E. Cycle hardlife rigid chopper frame that fits EVO style engine. Frame has 40 degrees of rake in the neck, with 7" backbone stretch. Frame is right side drive, comes with oil tank that mounts under transmission mount, neck bearing races, rear axle and front bolt on billet motor mount. Frame Features: • DOM tubing, entire frame constructed on .157 or .187 wall thickness material • low seat height, means lower center of gravity • machined 1/2" thick one piece transmission plate • triangulated high strength design with structural focal points • original frame with all radial bends • engine and transmission designed on centerline of frame, rsd only • narrow frame for better cornering, even at low ride height • oil tank hidden in bottom of frame. better weight distribution • 40 degree neck rake, No up with 7" stretch out • Accommodates 240, 280 or 300 MM rubber. Comes with everything seen in the pictures. I also have a set of Independent Cycle handle bars that were made specifically for this frame that I would be willing to sell separate if someone wanted them. BMW Gran Lusso (2013) the Pininfarina coupe revealed
Tue, 28 May 2013BMW’s team-up with Italian styling house Pininfarina, the Gran Lusso coupe has been revealed in full at the 2013 Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza in Italy. The imposing V12-powered coupe is a one-off styling concept for now, but shows the direction BMW could take for a new 8-series coupe, designed to battle the new Mercedes S-class coupe and Bentley Continental GT. BMW Gran Lusso: the details Riding on 21in alloys, the 7-series-sized Gran Lusso has all the trademark BMW styling boxes ticked: forward-raked ‘sharknose’ grille, the rear pillar's ‘Hofmeister kink’ in the windowline, and a cab-back stance accentuating that long bonnet.
Autodesk European Automotive Days 2008
Tue, 28 Oct 2008The 2008 Autodesk European Automotive Days conference was held last week in Munich, bringing together 200 automotive design and visualization experts. Autodesk presented their strategy and vision for industrial design, with an emphasis on 'digital prototyping', where even at the concept stage the digital model is treated not just as a set of surfaces, but is integrated within the engineering process as as a functional digital prototype, with the aim to eventually replace physical models entirely. There was also a recognition that traditional techniques continue to have an important place alongside digital workflows, as the workflows and technologies continue to evolve.
