The last ever Volvo C30 (pictured) is up for grabs in a Twitter competition The Volvo C30 has only been with us for seven years, but it’s made its mark. Perhaps the highest profile outing for the C30 was with a starring role in the Twilight films, which exposed the C30 to a very non-Volvo demographic, and made the C30 almost cool. But with Volvo’s new V40 hitting the roads, Volvo revealed they were ending production of the C30 and now they’ve decided they’re going to give away the very last C30 – an R-Design model with Polestar upgrades and an Ice White paint job – in a Twitter competition starting on 13th June.

Despite a fine of up to £1,000 for failing to do so, 2 million UK drivers are driving on expired photo card driving licences. Back in December, one of the Cars UK team had cause to hire a car – or at least try to – but was horrified to discover that his photo card driving licence had expired. Porsche chief Wendelin Wiedeking resigns

Porsche chairman Wendelin Wiedeking has bowed to mounting pressure in announcing that he will step down immediately. The resignation came Thursday, following a surprise meeting of the company's supervisory board at its Weissach R&D headquarters outside of Stuttgart, Germany, on Wednesday night. Wiedeking's announcement comes after months of tense and public infighting following Porsche's failed attempt to wrest control of Volkswagen, which left it with $12.7 billion in debt, and slowing sales in key markets such as North America.
