Indian Motorcycle Pennants 2001 100th B'day & 2002 22nd Annual Indian Run on 2040-parts.com

Location:

Knoxville, Tennessee, United States

Knoxville, Tennessee, United States
Condition:New

New - out of storage Pennants

(2) Pennants kept in storage for years!

2001 Blue/Yellow pennant depicts the 100th Anniversary of the birth of Indian/Springfield, MA with laughing Indian on the front

2002 Pennant done in Red/Yellow/White is of the 22nd Annual Indian Run at Fisher's Ranceria; Oakdale, CA. It has a Pin attached to upper LH corner identifying "Fisher's Wildpony Rancheria" 2002

Both Pennants are 8" x 18" long tapered of course as shown in photo's! With the yellow "flags/fringe" on the ends if laying "flat" on a surface should allow 22" overall length! Material appears to be a stiff flannel type as would be used for baseball pennants, etc.

Overall condition

Both Pennants are in "new" condition with no staining. Minor wrinkles appear to be from age in the material

Due to size: Shipping is $18 to Continental U.S.A. only!

I can do either of (2) things.

1) Lying Flat means a longer box - hence more in shipping costs but keeps the pennants intact.

2) I could "roll" the pennants around a 3 to 4" diameter tube made of cardboard and then put "inside" a MEDIUM sized USPS box for $13.45

I would repeat in asking and could reduce at final billing!

But if you do not question, I will put in a flat condition and mail out that way!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I had sold the set previously unaware of my mistake in shipping options.

When I presented the 2 options to the high volume ebay buyer/reseller he copped an attitude, questioning my method and I chose to refund his money.

We all make mistakes! We all try our best to offer a good service! As non-business sellers most of us rely on ebay/paypal fees and then shipping that never decreases to make our items available.

Please bear this in mind when looking to buy from someone and walk a mile in their shoes!

I would not know true cost until "after" a final bid, knowing a persons location and how to box the item for safe shipment! Priority mail for a set fee appears to be the cheapest route these days but is not cheap!

Goodwood FoS: Peugeot EX1 concept

Fri, 08 Jul 2011

It's not very often that I'm up at six o'clock on a Saturday morning. Yet here I am, threading through the narrow lanes of West Sussex, trying to meet a ridiculously early call time with Peugeot at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Couple this with the adrenalin coursing through my veins – brought on by the excitement of finally getting a ride up the drive in front of Goodwood's house, home each year to the Festival of Speed – and there's no need for any coffee to wake me up this morning.

Nissan GT-R R36: Is this it?

Fri, 14 Mar 2014

Facebook user 7tune snapped a picture of a Japanese magazine claiming to have pictures of the R36 Nissan GT-R. The poster, whom we assume can read Japanese, says the next GT-R will have a hybrid powertrain like the McLaren P1 and Ferrari LeFerrari. He also says it will carry a new version of the company's twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 making 580 hp.

Diesels and turbos dominate 2014

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

Wards Automotive released its 20th annual top 10 list of the best engines for 2014, with turbocharged, supercharged and diesel engines claiming the top spots as well as one electric motor. To be eligible, the new or improved engine must be on sale in a production vehicle during the first quarter of 2014. This powertrain revolution features world-class engine technology so compelling that they’re actually becoming the selling points for most buyers.
