CORE RETURN PROCESS

Engines-USA sells engines on an exchange basis. The core charge is not included in the "Buy it Now" price but indicated under item specifics as an additional and separate deposit. This essentially means that we sell you a remanufactured ZERO Mile engine, with the intention of receiving your old engine, or the core deposit. The Core Deposit is listed at the top of listing, and this is an ADDITIONAL AMOUNT in which the customer is invoiced separately for. Once you are ready to send in your core to receive the core deposit back, please call our customer service at (818)577-9326 and our shipping department will schedule the return shipment for you. You do not need to do anything other than make sure the core engine is securely tied down to the same pallet we shipped your engine on. The engine should be drained of all fluids, and have the same parts we sent on the re-manufactured engine (no more and no less). Your core is important to us so that our engines are consistently in inventory. If the core is not returned within 30 days there will be an additional charge added onto the core deposit and the deposit will be forfeited. We expect all core internals such as crankshaft, camshaft, block, & heads be in normal wear and tear condition, and NOT cracked or broken to qualify for the FULL Core Reimbursement  If the core is not completely rebuild-able  you may still receive a partial reimbursement depending on what parts can still be used. Below are actual photos of examples of what may be considered NON Rebuild-able Cores.  For further questions regarding the rebuild-ability of your core, please call one of our sales associates to discuss the condition of the core.

Auctioneer Dean Kruse's money woes continue

Thu, 19 Nov 2009

Auburn, Ind., auctioneer Dean Kruse has been ordered by a local court to pay more than $1.3 million to an Indiana bank, and a leasing company has asked a federal judge to repossess Kruse's 1985 Cessna jet, which had been insured at $3.5 million. These two recent events are on top of several months' worth of financial woes for one of the classic-car world's best-known auctioneers. AutoWeek reported in August that people from across the country were complaining that they had not been paid for cars sold at various Kruse International auctions.

The original red dream turns 100: Alfa Romeo celebrates its centenary

Thu, 24 Jun 2010

It hasn't been sold in the United States for the better part of two decades. Its last Grand Prix victory was in the early 1950s. The reliability of some of its cars can be charitably defined as iffy.

Driving age to be raised to 18?

Thu, 17 Oct 2013

A government-commissioned report has recommended probationary driving licences are in future issued from the age of 18, not 17 – and that learner drivers would be required to invest big in getting a licence. The new proposals would still see provisional driving licences issues from 17, allowing learners to get out on the road under supervision. However, learners would have to undertake a 12-month ‘learner stage’, in which they’d have to cover a minimum of 100 hours’ supervised driving.
