The Infinity Plug & Play programmable ECU for the manual transmission 2003-’06 Nissan 350Z/Infiniti G35 (Infinity-8 PN 30-7110 and Infinity-10 PN 30-7107) includes an application-specific start-up calibration and connects via a Plug & Play harness (sold separately, PN 30-3520) that is designed to fit in the factory location (requires AEM bracket on G35 models, PN 30-5936). Begin by determining which Infinity ECU will best support the ancillary components in your manual transmission Nissan 350Z/G35 using the Infinity Specifications Chart (see "Specs" tab). The M/T 03-06 Nissan 350Z/G35 Plug & Play Infinity ECUs have unique part numbers and include several unique features that incorporate the Nissan factory electronics system (see "Features" tab). Complete Stand Alone Engine Control The Infinity ECU combines with the Plug & Play harness to replace the 350Z/G35’s factory ECU. It controls all of the engine functions including up to four cam variable cam control (VQ35DE-RU) and the Drive by Wire (DBW) system. An AEM MAP sensor (sold separately) is required for proper operation of the Infinity ECU on this application. Plug & Play Harness with Expansion Port AEM’s sealed, weatherproof Plug & Play harness (sold separately) includes dual Lambda connectors, an AEMnet connector for communication with other AEMnet enabled devices and an auxiliary connector with a Deutsch DTM 12P connector for adding common aftermarket sensors. Visit the "Features" tab for more information about the 350Z/G35 Infinity Plug & Play harness expansion port.

The Ford Transit ECOnetic brings green option for White Van Man. [ad#ad-1]
The whole ‘Green’ thing is now finding its way in to mainstream commercial vehicles (which is a very good place for it to be), and that move is now given huge impetus by Ford, with their announcement today that they are launching ECOnetic versions of both the Transit and the Fiesta Van. We wrote about the Fiesta Van a while ago when Ford announced the Fiesta SportVan, and said then what a great little van it was.

When the sixth installment of "Gran Turismo" hits store shelves this holiday season for the PlayStation 3, it will include 1,200 cars, 33 tracks in 71 layouts, a new track editor with 10 square kilometers of scenery, and more ways to connect with friends and rivals. The new installment will add to the franchise's current sales of 70 million copies, continuing its run as one of the biggest sellers on the PlayStation family of consoles. Polyphony Digital, Sony and 10 manufacturers brought journalists out to the Silverstone Circuit in England for some hands-on time with a prototype copy of the new game.

A war of words has erupted between Fiat and Nissan's marketing departments over their electric vehicle designs, the Leaf and the 500e. Matt Davis, head of Fiat product marketing, told Bloomberg News before the launch of its all-electric 500e at the Los Angeles show last week that "ugliness is probably one of the worst forms of pollution," seen as an indirect attack on Nissan's electric offering. The then 500e came under attack with Nissan criticizing the fact that it was created only to meet Californian emissions requirements.
