Our Heavy-Duty 1.5 MM Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) Inflatable Fenders are designed for superior performance and years of convenient, dependable use. Used to protect your vessel at the marina, traveling locks, rafting up with other boats or buffering pilings in waves and storms. Lightweight, extremely durable and requiring minimal storage space, these fenders are made from a heavy, high denier polyester fabric (PVC) with built-in UV protection like what is used in dinghy construction. They are hand glued with seam reinforcement inside and out for added strength and durability. Both ends feature stainless steel D-ring attachment points securely fastened to a nylon fabric strap. Amped Up! GM to hire 1,000 engineers and researchers for electric cars
Tue, 30 Nov 2010General Motors will hire 1,000 engineers and researchers in Michigan for research and development of electric vehicles, CEO Dan Akerson said on Tuesday morning in Detroit. The new hires will work on batteries, electric motors and power-control technology. Akerson made the announcement at the factory that builds the 2011 Chevrolet Volt.

Group 20 has been wound up by the courts, along with sister car finance companies Vehicle Options Ltd and Vehicle Options Fleet Ltd.All three companies were investigated by the Insolvency Service after complaints, CAR can reveal.Group 20 supercar club: what went wrong?The supercar club started trading in 2006 and used a network of franchisees to sell membership to the club. Over time, Group 20 expanded to boast a rental list of exotica worth around £2 million; local newspaper reports in the Medway Messenger reveal Group 20 boasted a Lamborghini Gallardo, Porsche 911, Bentley Continental GTC and, most impressively, a Zonda F Roadster on its books.However, the Companies Investigation Branch of the Insolvency Service found that Group 20 and its parent company had numerous ‘misleading business practices’.
Opel and Auto Design and Styling magazine launch new sketch contest
Wed, 08 May 2013Opel and Auto Design and Styling magazine have joined forces to launch the ‘Adam Seeks Eve' sketch competition. The competition, which is open to amateur and professional designers of all ages, asks participants to "sketch the ideal car partner for the Opel Adam." Designs can be a personalized Adam, a model inspired by it, or its next iteration. The winner will be awarded a free ticket to the AutoDesign Prague Automotive Design Conference and the AutoDesign Prague Workshop as well as being lent an Adam for a week.
