DAB radio in cars and the digital switchover

Mon, 22 Nov 2010

Britain's motorists face a £1 billion+ bill to fix their car radios so they work after the digital switchover, a CAR Magazine investigation reveals. The Government plans to switch off the FM signal and move the UK's broadcasting industry to DAB digital radios - mirroring the switchover from analogue to digital televisions. Historic Roper steam-powered motorcycle at Las Vegas auction - Autoweek

Fri, 28 Oct 2011

In September we told you about one of the world's oldest four-wheeled machines going up for auction at an RM event. The Roper bike is the second of two built by Sylvester Roper of Roxbury, Mass., and is regarded as one of the world's oldest, predating the earliest Orient, Indian and Harley-Davidsons.

BMW 5 Series GT (w/ Video)

Fri, 22 May 2009

As we expected, BMW has remained true to form: the 5 Series GT is identical to the design of its concept precursor, including a lower body section and taillamps that call to mind the latest BMW 7 Series, a front end reminiscent of the CS concept, and an upper cabin design familiar to anyone who's seen an X6.  The interior has seen the most change, if only in color and trim.
