Carmel Concours stages a strong comeback
Tue, 16 Aug 2011The Carmel Concours on the Avenue came back stronger than ever this year, with somewhere around 200 cars crammed into every nook and cranny of downtown Carmel, Calif., and a crowd many were saying was the biggest the event has ever seen. Under unusually blue skies and warm temperatures, the sunscreened faithful ogled a varied and eclectic lineup, from Ferraris and Porsches to the Ford tractor owned by Carroll Shelby's doctor. GM to seek another shared Toyota model to replace Vibe
Mon, 27 Apr 2009Even as it shrinks its North American product portfolio, General Motors is negotiating with Toyota Motor Corp. to determine a new GM product to be jointly produced at the automakers' 50-50 joint venture, New United Motor Manufacturing Inc. A GM spokesman said that, if successful, the negotiations would result in a new model for one of GM's surviving brands -- Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac.
Sergio Marchionne’s Dodge Challenger to be auctioned for charity

The Challenger is painted in Pitch black accented with charcoal racing stripes hand-laid by SRT designers, and all proceeds from the sale will benefit the United Way for Southeastern Michigan charity.
