This cluster is a OEM VDO unit, and was removed from a 1975 Mercedes 450SL. The cluster has been tested; all gauges operate properly, as do the odometer and tripmeter. This cluster is a early-production cluster and will be correct for 1972-1975 cars., but will fit all 450SL gasoline models through 1980. See cluster graphics (lack of kph). This is a period-correct cluster for 1972 350SL models, and 1975-1975 450SL models. I've been told that this will not replace units in '72-'73 450SLs due to the location of the clock. The cluster's in good shape, with all bulb sockets in place. This includes a large portion of the wiring harness. The combination temp gauge has a smudge behind the bezel; I made a weak attempt during cluster evaluation and found that my (diluted) cleaner spread it around a bit, so I decided to reassemble.
