You are purchasing a NOS (New Old Stock) factory interior grille/screen for a Jaguar.
We could not find an application for this so we will describe it. It is a black metal piece, measures 4 1/2" by 4 " with 4 notches on each corner. It is in the Jaguar Daimler package, dated 1971 which puts it in the time frame of the XKE, Mark II, X and other sedans, XJ6, 3.8S, we do not know. The part number suggests a body part (BD39101). Could be for speakers or dash or console grille??
Any info would be appreciated.

Now that news seems to be official after Reuters spoke to an Aston Martin source who also said the Cygnet sold so poorly that fewer than 150 were sold. That must make the Cygnet one of the poorest performing cars in any company’s sales history, especially as that fewer than 150 total was supposed to be 4,000 a year.

Wed, 26 Sep 2007The college for Creative Studies (CCS) has been teaming up with the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) since 1989, bringing together imaginative automotive design and steel, the material of choice in the industry. As did last year's program, this summer also saw three engineering students from the University of Michigan (UM) join three CCS transportation design students to develop a concept car. Revolving around an 'Inside Out' theme, students conceptualized, rendered and created a concept vehicle based on a steel exoskeleton design.
