McLaren MP4-12C Can-Am (2012) racer revealed
Wed, 15 Aug 2012McLaren will show this MP4-12C Can-Am racing car at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August 2012. It's only a one-off design study at the moment, says McLaren, but the Can-Am racer could morph into an off-the-shelf racer for well-heeled enthusiasts keen to take their racing seriously - if there's enough interest. Tue, 04 Oct 2011The Seat Mii is still another variation of Volkswagen Up city car. Following on from Skoda's unveiling of the Citigo last week, the Mii follows the same basic principles: Take one Up and add appropriate corporate face. As a result, the Mii retains the same diminutive overall length of just 3550mm, as well as a range of economically mindful drivetrains and power units. To differentiate itself from its siblings, the Mii adopts a ‘characteristic and unmistakable' Seat DRG, with ‘arrow' graphics in the lamps and trapezoidal grille.
Infiniti EX35
Fri, 24 Aug 2007The EX35 is a slightly smaller and more mainstream SUV than its FX bigger brother from which it takes its core 'coupe SUV' theme. Despite the coupe design references, the vehicle is similar proportionally to the Lexus RX300 and BMW X3 which it will compete with in the US - and also in Europe when the Infiniti brand debuts next year. Little different to the Infiniti EX concept shown in New York, the EX35 uses the core Infiniti graphic design signatures and soft form language but introduces a new flowing side feature line not seen on the Infiniti G37 Coupe launched a few months ago. Interesting technical innovations include the 'Around View Monitor' that uses four cameras to give a 'top-down view' of the outside of the car, and 'Scratch Shield' - a new self-healing clearcoat paint.
