Here's an offering for a complete voltage regulator setup for an InterAv alternator sustem.  It includes the voltage regulator, capacitor, and overvoltage relay.  The parts are mounted via nutplates on aluminum stock that is drilled to fit onto the old GM-style voltage regulator bracket that many of the classic airplanes have.  The parts were removed for an engine upgrade that used a different system and were working fine  when removed.  AOG, contact me.  Shipping will be CONUS using Priority Mail.  If you are outside CONUS, you must contact me for updated shipping costs before your item is sent.  Bid often and high and thanks for looking.

700 medics call for car smoking ban

AROUND 700 medics and health experts are calling on the Government to ban smoking in cars carrying children ahead of a Commons vote on Monday. In a letter to the British Medical Journal (BMJ), respiratory experts said secondhand smoke was a "major cause of ill health in children", damaging the developing lungs, causing sudden infant death and leading to thousands of hospital trips every year. Signatories to the letter are being co-ordinated by Dr Nicholas Hopkinson from Imperial College London and chairman of the British Thoracic Society's chronic obstructive pulmonary disease specialist advisory group.

Fornasari, a small independent automaker based in Italy, has recently completed a new 'Racing Buggy' concept, which will be unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show in September. The 2+2-seat concept is a powerful, functional and extreme off-road vehicle with a removable roof and doors. It measures 4350mm long, 2000mm wide, 1720mm high and has a 2750mm wheelbase.

Following on from a front three-quarter sketch released to the press last week, Lexus has given us a good view of its Premium Compact Concept from the rear - along with its proper name: LF-Ch. Equipped with Lexus's Hybrid Drive system, this BMW 1 Series rival will be able to run on both electric and gasoline when it goes on sale in 2010. The car's full volumes, raked-back windscreen and aggressive new variation on Lexus's corporate nose are visible from the sketch, while the new rear image confirms that the newcomer will combine the looks of a coupe with the practicality of four doors.
