This is an auction of one Dearborn - Eaton, Dearbo Model B reverse gear case.  It is clean and crack free and has no defects that I can see.  Slight corrosion damage on the bottom of the flywheel housing area.  These reverse gear assemblies were used on many boats with the Ford Interceptor engines.  Some of those boats were Chris Craft, Century, Correct Craft and quite a few others.  I am including the dip stick which doesn't show in the photos.  This would be a good case to have if you wanted to change an A model reverse gear to a B or if you have broken a case while disassembling a reverse gear.

I will ship as soon as funds are available to my accounts via the PayPal.  Thanks for looking.

2011 Saab 9-3 Price and Spec

Mon, 14 Mar 2011

2011 Saab 9-3 Once day, we’ll get round this problem of what year t0 allocate to a car. With the facelifted Saab 9-3 going on sale in the UK next month, Saab are referring to it as the 2012 MY Saab 9-3 in this morning’s press release, but it seems unlikely anyone in the UK will do so. In the US, cars going on sale from May are referred to as the following year car, so assuming the new 9-3 goes on sale across the Pond in May it will be the 2012 Saab 9-3.

GM to double size of battery lab

Mon, 12 Apr 2010

General Motors says it will spend $8 million to double the size of its Global Battery Systems Lab, which the company claims is the largest and most technologically advanced automotive battery lab in the United States. GM says the expansion will speed up the development of hybrid and electric vehicles, such as the upcoming Chevrolet Volt, by improving on-site testing of battery cells and systems. When finished, the lab will be 30,000 square feet bigger than it is now, for a 63,000-square-foot total.
