Forest, Virginia, United States
Condition:New Brand:Intercomp

Up for auction is a new Intercomp Tire Durometer Hardiness Gauge and Tire Depth Gauge.  The surface of a tire becomes harder with every heat cycle and even new tires of the same compound can vary a great deal in hardness. If a tire is too soft for the track, it will overheat and may not last the entire race, but if it is too hard, it will not get up to the optimum temperature and traction will be sacrificed. Intercomp's Tire Durometer enables you to make the correct tire selections for any track.  The durometer hardiness gauge is adjustable to zero, has a type-A removable tip and reads from 0 to 100.

The tire depth gauge is made with aluminum construction and measures tire wear in 1mm & 1/32" increments.
It includes a pouch.

Comes from a smoke and pet free environment.
