Hyundai Nuvis Concept makes waves in New York

Thu, 09 Apr 2009

The Hyundai Nuvis Concept - a startlingly good crossover concept from Hyundai [ad#ad-1] We really do need to start taking the Koreans seriously (if we weren’t already) when it comes to cars. They are moving very rapidly up the ladder and if European car makers, never mind the Americans, aren’t careful there’s going to be another sea-change to rival the one that Japan made a few decades ago. Hyundai ix20 (2010) first official teaser sketch

Thu, 02 Sep 2010

Hyundai is the latest car manufacturer to join the mini-MPV party, with the upcoming ix20, and ahead of its preview at the Paris motor show at the end of this month, the Korean company has released this teaser sketch. Designed and developed at Hyundai’s European research and development centre in Rüsselsheim, Germany, the ix20 is essentially Hyundai’s version of sister firm Kia’s Venga.  Hyundai would have you believe it’s a little bit of both – the ‘ix’ moniker has been chosen to suggest its cross-over like capability. The Korean manufacturer says the ix20 is ‘a vehicle with the ability to simultaneously serve as a functional people-carrier while providing a dynamic, fun-to-drive experience’; the Venga has shown that it’s a capable and competent, if unexciting, small MPV.

Mon, 26 Jan 2009

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 26 January 2009 12:29 Mitsubishi will unveil this i MiEV Sport Air concept at the 2009 Geneva motor show, alongside a new eco-version of the facelifted Colt supermini. You have, sort of, at the 2007 Tokyo Auto Salon. There it was merely the i MiEV Sport, and to be green Mitsubishi has just recycled that concept and given it a removable glass roof fitted with solar panels.
