Hi,

The handle definitely has layers of material missing and sometimes is also sticky.

I sell a simple guide that explain how to clean the handle.

I state that it is impossible that it will come back as new, but definitely it will return in acceptable condition.

With this method can clean other parts made with the same material as the windows pad control.
You need only a little bit of your time and patience.
I have tested this method on my 2005 ALFA GT and the photo shows that the panel is in excellent condition.
Obviously deeper scratches will remain but I assure you that the handle will return to a sane state.
Do not expect a complicated procedure you will have to apply, the job is simple.
The material cost not exceeding 1$ and is home available.

The BBC has released a video of the Stig test driving Britain’s first motorway pub, presumably as a way of promoting its new series of Top Gear. The video shows the Stig pull up at Beaconsfield services in a Vauxhall Insignia, before entering the Hope and Champion pub and posing for photos, and then ordering a pint of beer.
