This runs & drives but has not been on the road for a few years  & now may need carb work. It had a slide in camper on it & was parked inside a airport hanger most of the time. I do have the tailgate for it. The original fuel tank was removed from this truck. They had  another one behind the seat for an Xtra when they went on long trips so when the original sprung a leak last year the guy who owned it since it was 2 years old took the fuel tank out & ran it off the one behind the seat. This is not a perfect truck & that is why I am selling it for parts  it is a 304 automatic, you  are buying the whole thing  the brakes still work  & I have a old registration but no title  & NO THIS WILL NOT DRIVE TO CALIFORNIA OR ANY OTHER PLACES SO  DO NOT EVEN THINK OF ASKING  TRAILER IT HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Report: Interior Motives China Conference 2009 - Day 1

Mon, 27 Apr 2009

Interior Motives returned once more to the exciting city of Shanghai for its second China design conference, themed ‘China: Changing the landscape of car design'. Held straight after the first Shanghai auto show press day - a day topped off by the Car Design Night, attended by some 300 or so designers - this two-day event saw 27 of the world's foremost car design experts and nearly 250 delegates gather together to debate the future of Chinese car design. Session 1 - Harnessing design awareness Tony Williams, UK design director of China's biggest carmaker, SAIC, kicked off the session by explaining how trend research was finding more savvy and confident Chinese consumers who want their character reflected in the products they buy and "cars they want rather than just need".

Like many automakers, Peugeot is now making conspicuous use of social media platforms as a component in its new car launch campaigns and in order to manage customer relations online. For its new RCZ coupe, Peugeot in the UK has been running a social media campaign under the strap line "It chooses you", with associated Twitter and Facebook accounts – which culminated with a member of the public winning an RCZ last week. For auto designers, there was little interest in the campaign up until last week, when Peugeot put RCZ designer Boris Reinmöller behind a computer terminal and opened him up to a public Q+A session through its Twitter account.
