Citroen C4 Aircross to debut at Geneva 2012
Tue, 28 Feb 2012The Citroen C4 Aircross debuts at Geneva 2012 Citroen will give their C4 Aircross its first public outing at the Geneva Motor Show next week as well as new DS3, DS4 & DS5 models. We got the reveal of the new Citroen C4 Aircross – Citroen’s version of the Peugeot 4008 and Mitsubishi ASX – back in September 2011, and now Citroen are giving the Aircross its first public outing at the Geneva Motor Show ahead of a launch in Europe in the Autumn. The decent-looking C4 Aircross makes a good fist of marking itself out as a Citroen, and seems to offer a credible option in the compact SUV stakes.
Trevor’s Back! TVR sold to new British owner
Fri, 07 Jun 2013TVR sold to a new British owner, Les Edgar TVR – once the pride of Blackpool – effectively disappeared from the car scene in 2006 when its Russian owner, Nikolai Smolensky, shuttered up TVR just two years after he bought it from Peter Wheeler and last yeare announced there would never be another TVR. But it now seems TVR has been sold to a British businessman, Les Edgar, who has bought the rights to the TVR name and the right to manufacture parts for existing cars. So far, the only evidence of a return is a new splash page on the TVR website (pictured above) which tells us that TVR are ‘Roaring Back’.
Mini crossover to carry base price of $22,350
Thu, 07 Oct 2010Mini's new Countryman crossover will start at $22,350, only $550 more than the three-door Clubman wagon. A well-equipped Countryman in a Cooper S trim with optional all-wheel drive will cost just under $30,000, Jim McDowell, head of Mini USA, said Wednesday during the media launch for the vehicle. The prices include destination charges, Mini said.
