Carr has always prided itself on ad-free pages and continual focus on the future of car design but to do this needs some help from its readers as the team looks to improve its circulation and bolster content. Sat, 11 Jul 2009First leaked picture of the Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing Today we get a leaked ‘Official’ image of the SLS, which does seem to be real. It appears to be taken on a mobile phone – probably from magazine artwork at car magazine Autobild, and doesn’t look like a Photoshop job – it appears to be a photo. Which tends to suggest that Mercedes may have given them the detail for their next issue to coincide with the official release of the pictures, and the first solid detail.

Despite antipathy about the price and the range, the Tesla Roadster is the first proper electric sports car to hit the road – and sell. Tesla has managed to sell 2,600 Roadsters based on a Lotus platform since the Roadster launched, but production is now ending.
