For sale is arguably the best maintenance manual published for the early IHC Scout 80 4x4 vehicles. This manual was supplied to the U.S. Army on several contracts. It is well-illustrated and covers all the systems in the vehicle. It is printed on coated paper so that the photos are clear and sharp. The manual is loose-leaf for easy copying so as not to spoil the original pages. It is 8-1/2 x 11 in size, is about 1" thick, and weighs over three pounds because of the coated paper. This new Astra is built on the same platform as the much heralded Vauxhall Ampera (the Electric Car that will be the salvation of GM – once the technology is sorted) and as such offers a bigger wheelbase (up by 71mm) on a 4.4 meter (14′ 4″) body, with a wider track, which should make the Astra a better drive.
